A little about me and my passion for nature:

My name is Christopher Crigger. I have lived in Colorado for 30 years, calling its mountains and high plains my home for decades. Three years ago I quit smoking after 25 years, and the change opened up new possibilities in my life. As often happens when one addiction is left behind, another can take its place — thankfully, for me, that new addiction became hiking and photography, a healthy combination that keeps me active and curious. Standing atop my first fourteener, I was stunned by the vast, breathtaking views that stretched in every direction. My first photograph — of a squirrel sparked a creative journey I could not have anticipated, one that continues to evolve with each outing. There is nothing I would rather be doing, and I look forward to continuing this pursuit of outdoor exploration and nature photography for many years to come.
